Agnes Krol

Dr. Agnieszka Krol was born in Poland and grew up in the Chicagoland area. Upon graduating from Benedictine University with a B.S in Health Science, she went on to attend the Illinois College of Optometry where she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry. She completed training at the Memphis VAMC, Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, and the University of Melbourne in Australia before finishing her clinical rotations at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago. Her clinical interests include dry eye, contact lenses, and myopia control. Dr. Krol is certified in the fitting of specialty contact lenses and also therapeutically certified to prescribe medications in the treatment of eye diseases such as dry eyes and glaucoma. She enjoys giving back to the community and has volunteered her talent at diabetic vision screenings, “Opening Eyes” for Special Olympics, and at a SVOSH medical mission trip to Casimiro Castillo, Mexico. Dr. Krol strives to keep current with all optometric advances in order to provide the best care for her patients by being an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association.

When Dr. Krol is not at work, you can find her reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to providing professional eye care to the community.
